The work arises from an ideal dialogue with Bernard Aubertin’s research, an artist of Nouveau Réalisme who made red, repetition, and material central elements of his poetic. In his works, the seriality of simple, everyday elements becomes a language capable of evoking tension, energy, destruction, and transformation. In this piece, however, tradition is reinterpreted through a characteristic element of my research: the screw. Instead of the nails used by Aubertin, I use hundreds of screws, arranged according to a precise geometric structure on the red surface. The screw, an element normally associated with assembly, construction, and mechanics, is here transformed into an autonomous artistic element. Its repetition creates a three-dimensional surface in which light, shadow, and depth continually modify the perception of the work. The red envelops the composition like a surface charged with energy, while the screws emerge from the plane, creating a kind of visual vibration. From a frontal view the composition appears orderly and minimal; viewing it from the side, its true three-dimensional and material nature emerges. The work does not aim to be a simple quotation of Aubertin, but a contemporary reinterpretation of his language, replacing the nail with the screw and transforming an industrial object into an artistic sign. The screw thus becomes a symbol of construction and destruction at the same time: what normally serves to join and fix is used to create an unsettling, intense, deeply material surface. It is precisely in this contrast between order and tension, construction and destruction, two-dimensionality and three-dimensionality that the identity of the work is born. Work by the artist Alessandro Padovan, famous worldwide for his Screw Art technique. The work is enriched by a plexiglass case. The transparent case isolates and protects, transforming the work into a contemporary relic. The works of this contemporary artist fit into the path of Pop Art, Screw Art, conceptual art, and street art, recalling in visual language and cultural impact the work of great names such as Andy Warhol, Jean‑Michel Basquiat, Banksy, Jeff Koons, Keith Haring, Fontana, Imbue, obey, Padovan, Schifano, Nicole Lubbers, Bani, kev munday invader, murakami, and Damien Hirst. At the same time, the artistic research dialogues with the imagery of luxury, iconic fashion, and global design, evoking sacred symbols and universally recognized brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Hermès, Rolex, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini. The works are not replicas nor official collaborations with the artists or brands cited, but original creations, produced with a personal style that reflects a critique and a rereading of consumerism, the symbolic value of the brand, and art as a contemporary cultural object. This approach makes the works particularly appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts of contemporary art, luxury Pop Art, conceptual street art, and art inspired by iconic brands, while maintaining a strong autonomous artistic identity.
