Extremely rare and hard to find antique tablecloth in the finest Alençon lace. (Alençon lace is a very fine needle lace of French origin, nicknamed “the queen of laces,” characterized by a raised cord outlining the designs. Alençon lace (point d'Alençon) is a precious needle lace originating from France, recognized as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO) New!!! Never used, perfect, untouched. Venetian purchase from the renowned Jesurum shop, from the last century. Of rare grace in the floral decor, but priceless is the long and complex handwork involved (7 to 15 hours of work per cm2 — like a postage stamp — of lace, depending on the embroidered motifs). The classic process consists of 10 mandatory steps. An authentic masterpiece, truly unobtainable.
