Affascinante - Wall mirror - Pearlized Profile - Red Wood – 1800s

Fascinating antique mirror made of wood, dating from the period between the late 19th century and the early 20th century. Scenographic, beautiful in form and appearance, the wooden frame is embellished with a splendid reddish patina that tastefully reveals the underlying preparation, a detail that gives the piece a warm and deep temporal finish. The inner profile is elegantly finished with a classic continuous relief motif in PEARL finish, typical of the end-of-century taste. The back retains the authentic wood lining closure from the period, fixed with original artisanal nails, complete with an era-appropriate metal filament for hanging. Condition: The item is in good overall condition, genuine and not altered by invasive modern restorations. It shows the normal signs of time and age that certify its authenticity: slight wear on the gilding, small and physiological cracks on the wooden frame and on the pearl-like profile due to natural wood movements. This is an original antique piece, of great charm, perfect for both classical interiors and contemporary furnishings, a fragment of history capable of catching the light and reflecting the elegance of a bygone era.
