Artist and designer Æ (Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies, Barcelona, 2004 + Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies) has developed a distinctive visual language inspired by minimalism, conceptual art, Japanese printmaking, manga aesthetics and iconic music culture. Working exclusively with hand-finished mixed media, Æ transforms legendary cultural figures into timeless monochrome compositions where texture, contrast and negative space become as expressive as the subjects themselves. This diptych pays tribute to Daft Punk, the groundbreaking electronic music duo whose fusion of music, technology and visual identity redefined modern pop culture. Combining the duo’s iconic robotic helmets with Japanese graphic influences, traditional motifs and bold typographic compositions, these artworks celebrate the meeting of futuristic imagination and timeless craftsmanship. Rendered in expressive black-and-white ink textures, the diptych captures the spirit of discovery, creativity and human connection that has made Daft Punk one of the most influential electronic acts of the twenty-first century. Æ’s artworks are held in private collections in more than 30 countries, including The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Collectors appreciate the distinctive balance between graphic simplicity, emotional depth and meticulous hand-finished details that make every variation unique. Artist was the subject of a review by respected exhibitions curator Thierry Fournier (Artnoises). “Collected Æ (XX), it comes down to wanting, breaking, transgressing an invisible border, merging the civilizational DNA of the future and the past… the work becomes a ticket, a simple ‘go!’ for an emotional teleportation… Æ pushes you to jump into a void populated with images, symbols and unexplored signs that propel us into a real timelessness.” — T. Fournier (Artnoises) ★★★★★ * All pictures are as accurate as possible. Slight variations in colour may occur due to lighting conditions and monitor settings. ** Immediate insured shipping after payment.
