All auctions / Miscellaneous / Adam Nowakowski (1959) - Kolumna Zygmunta obok Zamku Królewskiego w Warszawie
- Oil on canvas. Original canvas. Signed and dated. - Segismundo's Column and the Royal Castle of Warsaw are not mere architectural landmarks, but the spiritual axes on which the immanent power of a nation that has made resurgence its only natural law pivots. Like a brick-and-bronze Phoenix, this monumental complex has risen from its own ashes after being systematically reduced to rubble, proving that Polish sovereignty does not reside in the fragility of matter but in the unbreakable will of its collective memory. The Castle, with its silhouette restored opposite the Vistula, and the monarch’s column, which rises defiantly like a finger pointing to eternity, function as the heart and spine of a people who refuse to be erased from history; they are the physical proof that the fire of occupation and destruction has only tempered the steel of an identity that, after every apparent death, beats its wings again with a majesty older and deeper. - Image dimensions without frame: 53 x 36 cm / 64 x 48 cm with exclusive custom frame. At Montbaron Gallery, we are pleased to offer our clients an exclusive selection of artworks, all of them unique, original, and one-of-a-kind. Each piece in our gallery results from deep dedication, creative vision, and masterful technique—qualities that guarantee its authenticity. The works we sell are not industrial reproductions; they are pieces created individually by renowned artists, each with its own story and essence. Originality is the foundation of our commitment to excellence, and for that reason every painting or sculpture that forms part of our collection is carefully selected to ensure its singularity. Acquiring a work from Montbaron Gallery means owning an irrepeatable piece, an investment in creativity and talent that, over time, will preserve both its artistic and emotional value. We are proud to offer works that not only beautify spaces but also connect our clients with the richness of human expression through art that is most authentic. Thus, we guarantee that every work that leaves our gallery is a one-of-a-kind piece in the world, with no replicas, and a testament to the innovation and passion of the artists with whom we work. Certain lots, due to their age and value, require an export permit issued by the Ministry of Culture. Although this is an administrative procedure, it is indispensable to ensure the authenticity of the work and its free international circulation. Montbaron Gallery commits to offering its clients original, unique, and irrepeatable works of art, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of each piece in our collection. To ensure transparency and trust in every purchase, we offer a digital Certificate of Guarantee, signed by a certified art historian. This certificate confirms that the purchased work has been authenticated by our specialists, who verify its authorship, origin, and condition. The Guarantee Certificate includes complete details about the piece, such as its author, creation date, technique used, and dimensions. The digital Guarantee Certificate will be issued upon the client’s request, providing an official reference for the purchased piece. This document will be sent in digital format and will be signed by an art historian from our gallery, ensuring its validity and endorsement. We are committed to the satisfaction and confidence of our clients, so any doubts about the authenticity or condition of the work will be addressed professionally and diligently. To request your Guarantee Certificate, please contact us through our usual channels. As experts in art logistics, Montbaron Gallery is committed to ensuring that every piece arrives at its destination safely and in the best possible condition. To that end, we work with a network of professionals specialized in art transport, who guarantee the utmost care throughout the process. It is important to note that the shipping cost prices indicated in the listing are indicative and subject to modification depending on various circumstances. These include fluctuations in the transport market rates, changes in the delivery location, the size and weight of the artwork, and possible extraordinary circumstances such as fluctuations in fuel costs or adjustments to customs and import tariffs. The final shipping cost will be calculated precisely based on these factors, and the client will always be informed beforehand before proceeding with shipment. Our goal is to offer the best possible service, tailored to each client's needs and ensuring the artwork reaches its destination quickly and safely, with no surprises. The frame shown in the previous images has been added to the work by a third party or by the seller, and is not an integral part of the object. This frame is provided at no additional cost so that, when the work arrives at your home, it can be exhibited immediately on your wall. Accordingly, damages to the frame that do not affect the integrity of the work will not be accepted as a valid reason to file a claim or request a cancellation.
