BP). A pair of closely related Regency rosewood caned stools was sold anonymously, Sotheby's, New York, 16-17th April 1998, lot 859 ($27,600 incl. BP). The reeded tapering leg is a leitmotif found throughout Gillows' manufacture of the early 19th century.
