A bronze sculpture by the French artist Auguste Moreau (1834 - 1917), a characteristic work from the Art Nouveau period. The statue captures the grace and movement of a ballerina in an expressive pose. The sculpture is made of bronze with a dark patina and stands on a square, black marble plinth. The work is signed on the bronze foot with "A. Moreau". Dimensions: 45 cm high. 20 cm deep and 18 cm wide. The condition of the bronze sculpture itself is excellent, but the marble plinth has some damage. Will be insured and shipped. Pickup in Hoofddorp, Netherlands is possible.
