A Lladro glazed porcelain sculpture depicting a seated male cellist. The figure is portrayed in mid-performance, dressed in a grey morning suit with coattails, a white waistcoat, and a cravat. He is seated upon a white pedestal base which features a bas-relief lyre on the rear panel. The cello is finished in a pale tan glaze with darker brown accents on the tailpiece and scroll. The figure holds a slender, separate bow in his right hand. The entire piece is finished in a characteristic high-gloss glaze. The underside of the base bears a blue printed mark consisting of a stylized tulip symbol above the words 'LLADRO' and 'HAND MADE IN SPAIN'.
