the black leather body inset with a panel of Chinese silk brocade woven with key fret and floral roundels within a lozenge diaper, the gilt-metal filigree clasp set with three carved jade panels, the largest carved with flowers, the oval lavender panel with a shou character, opening to a cream silk-lined interior fitted with pockets and a purse, with a leather strap. 32cm wide
