the communion-cup with tapering cylindrical bowl and spreading stepped foot, the bayonet-mounted cover which detaches as a wafer-box, the further cover with disc finial, in fitted blue leather-covered case, with a card typed 'With best wishes from Queen Mary', further inscribed by Queen Mary 'circa George III' and in another hand 'communion set', the case 10.3cm high, gross weight of silver 4oz 13dwt, 145gr (2) Provenance: Probably presented by Queen Mary to Harry William Blackburne, D.S.O. (1878-1963) while he was serving as Honorary Chaplain to the King and Canon of St. George's Chapel, Windsor between 1920 and 1934
