A George III Sterling Silver Inkstand, Marked for Charles Aldridge and Henry Green, London, 1778 The stand with a scrolling, pierced gallery and beaded rim and engraved with armorial device, fitted with three cut-glass pots with pierced silver lids; fully marked on the underside. Dimensions: 8 in. wide, 6 1/2 in. deep, 2 3/4 in. high, the stand 15.87 ozt weighable silver Provenance: From a Bensalem, PA collection. Condition With some tarnishing and surface scratches. The glass pots with build-up of residue.
