A French platinum diamond and calibré sapphire Art Déco bar brooch. Bar brooch with trefoil terminals and a central rosette motif. Set with 16 small calibrated sapphires, some synthetic (Verneuil, total approx. 0.50 ct) and 42 rose- and 8/8-cut diamonds, as well as one old-cut diamond (approx. 0.18 ct, H/I, SI). Fitted with a safety catch. Hallmarks: French platinum fineness mark "tête de chien", maker's mark "AN" with a jug in a horizontal lozenge. Length 10.0 cm. Weight 9.19 g. C. 1920 - 25.
