A French bronze chandelier with the original chain and ceiling rose, with eight rhyton shaped candle arms centred on a classical urn and attached to rings on the shoulder by twisted scrolls supports, decorated throughout with high relief classical motifs and acanthus leaves, the baluster shaft with an acanthus leaf collar, the conical ceiling rose with bands of gadrooning, dentillation and beading, rewired. French, circa 1890
