A dressing table by Henry van de Velde (1863 - 1957)

A dressing table by Henry van de Velde (1863 - 1957) Solid oak, facetted mirror pane, glass, brass mounts. The central mirror set on a base plate angled forwards at the sides, flanked by two side compartments, each with four stacked drawers and two glass shelves above. Two screws from the metal bands over the lamps missing, a third replaced, signs of use, cables and lighting switch replaced. Height 188, width 145, depth 53 cm. Designed by Henry van de Velde (1863 - 1957), produced by Hofkunsttischlerei Scheidemantel, Weimar, 1903.
