A DIVISION THREE PICTORIAL CELLULOID BUTTON

1 Large early 20th century button depicting monkeys. This lot from the Lanier collection consists of a very unusual celluloid button with a high relief pierced escutcheon of the "Hear no evil. See no evil, Speak no evil" monkeys in silvered brass. We have never seen this button before and the escutcheon is pinned to the back as seen in the images on the mottled slightly convex thick celluloid back. A very cool and unusual example. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
