apparently unmarked, possibly German, 19th Century, of circular form with a fitted domed cover, the figural finial cast as a putto upon a sphere, chased with a band of grotesque masks between fruiting vines, the body chased with a band of a landscape scene over a band of a hunting scene, the stem cast as a dragon over a baluster knop cast with figures and rams heads, on a spreading circular foot chased with recumbent figural panels and further grotesque masks. 44cm high, 28.1 troy ounces
