the circular glass body with gold mounts, the hinged cover with the Royal coat-of-arms of Bavaria reverse-painted on glass and above a mother-of-pearl plaque, with turquoise thumbpiece 45mm diameter The arms are those of Rupprecht, Crown Prince of Bavaria (1869-1955).
