A Collection of Coin Silver "Kings" Pattern Forks, Marked for Taylor & Lawrie (act. 1837-1857), and Retailed by Bailey & Co., Philadelphia, c. 1850 Comprising: twelve dinner forks, two fish forks, and two salad forks, all marked on the underside and most engraved "Van Syckel" and with monogram initials on underside; together with, a set of ten sterling silver "Kings" pattern teaspoons, marked for Dominick & Haff, New York, and retailed by Bailey, Banks, & Biddle, Philadelphia, late 19th century. Dimensions: 8 in. long, the dinner fork 29.88 ozt (the coin silver) 9.8 ozt (the sterling silver) Provenance: From descendants of Elizabeth Morris Wistar Condition The spoons with some tarnishing. Other minor expected scratches.
