(9.5 cm!!!) -Only 3.9 Kg in the World- RUMURUTI R3 Chondrite Meteorite

The meteorite of this lot is a complete slice of one of the latest world-class classifications of meteorites of the chondrite type Rumuruti (stony meteorite) found in the Sahara Desert, officially named Grizim. In it we can appreciate thousands of fantastically formed chondrules, as well as its lithology of great beauty!!! One of the largest that will go on sale. Rumuruti-type meteorites owe their name to the first specimen of this type that was seen fall in the village of Rumuruti (Kenya) in 1934. They form a rare group of chondrites, which, although sharing many aspects in common with ordinary chondrites such as similar chondrules, few refractory inclusions, or similar chemical composition, are distinguished by a higher proportion of fine-grained matrix, clasts of various lithologies of the parent body, and contain little iron in the form of metallic particles; almost all the metal they contain is oxidized or in the form of sulfides. Chondrites contain the oldest materials we can find in the solar system, with an estimated age of more than 4.55 billion years. An excellent opportunity to add this wonder of the universe to your collection. All of our meteorites come with an IMCA certificate (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA, and The Meteoritical Society, associations of which we are members, being the most important worldwide, so we guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Buy with guarantees. Best regards and our very best wishes. CRATER METEORITES
