Mallory Line maritime ephemera, late 19th to early 20th century. Collection of seven pieces comprising chromolithograph trade cards, postally used postcards, and an advertising flyer, all pertaining to travel between New York and Florida. The trade cards feature Florida-themed vignettes including lighthouses, palm trees, deer in swamps, and orange groves. Each trade card bears a printed circular logo with a central star and banner reading SHIP AND TRAVEL BY MALLORY LINE. One flyer is titled Avoid the Fate of Dust and GO NORTH By the Iron Palace Steamships of the MALLORY LINE, noting departures from Fernandina, Florida. Text on trade card reverses identifies THE FINE IRON STEAMSHIP CITY OF SAN ANTONIO and agents C. H. MALLORY & CO. at Pier 20, East River, New York. Two postcards are postally used with Tampa, Florida postmarks dated 1924 and 1928.
