After working alongside his father for several years, Antoine officially took charge of this prestigious estate in 2007. Although François has been enjoying his retirement for some time, he can still be found in the vineyards and cellar almost daily, assisting his son. The arrival of Antoine has brought a slight shift in the wines' style; minor adjustments during the winemaking process have made them more accessible and refined without sacrificing character. Antoine prefers working with finer lees than his father did, and he bottles the wines in April or May of the year following the harvest. These may be subtle details, but they have further elevated the quality of the wines. The estate is renowned for a pure, precise, and terroir-driven style that emphasizes tension and minerality. Jobard’s wines are known for their taut structure and excellent aging potential.
