2023 Château d'Yquem - Sauternes 1er Cru Supérieur - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

For three consecutive vintages, noble rot has distinguished itself with remarkable complexity and purity, giving rise to an exceptional trilogy, of which Château d’Yquem 2023 represents the pinnacle. It combines the crystalline freshness of 2021 with the sun-drenched power of 2022. On the nose, it is pure and dense, reminiscent of cooked rhubarb, lilac blossoms, and citrus fruits, with a touch of cedar and beeswax. The palate is smooth and enveloping, carried by an almondy texture that underscores its vibrant power. Its ample structure reveals notes of apricot, Agen plum, and mandarin marmalade, leading to a long and flavorful finish. Château d’Yquem 2023 fully reflects the miracle of noble rot, a wine of rare intensity that will gradually reveal its full dimension over time.100 Parker
