2022 Paolo Manzone – Gavi Del Comune di Gavi - Piedmont...

Paolo Manzone's Gavi Del Comune di Gavi presents itself in the glass with a bright platinum yellow color. The bouquet of this Piedmontese white wine reveals elegant aromas of lemon, acacia, and other white flowers, accompanied by notes of ripe apple and subtle fruity nuances. On the palate, this Gavi is delightfully dry and aromatic, with a silky texture that is perfectly balanced. The crisp fruit acidity gives the wine a lively and exceptionally fresh flavor. The finish is captivating, with the refined and lingering impression typical of wines from the Gavi DOCG. Vinification of Gavi Del Comune di Gavi This balanced Gavi is produced entirely from the Cortese grape, as required by DOCG regulations. After a careful, hand-harvested grape, the grapes are quickly transported to the press, where they are selected and gently crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for several months on the fine lees, which contributes to its complexity, before bottling. Gastronomic recommendation Serve this white wine chilled at 8-10°C. It is an excellent accompaniment to light pasta dishes, seafood, grilled fish, or fresh summer salads.
