Vintage: 2020 Producer: Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute S.a.r.l. Production site: Greve in Chianti (FI), Italy Format: 1.5 Liters (Magnum) Alcohol content: 14% vol. Additional indications: Entirely produced and bottled by the viticulturist, contains sulfites, symbol of the Black Rooster Chianti Classico since 1716, supplied in original wooden crates. Organoleptic sheet Visual examination: Intense and luminous ruby red colour, with bright garnet reflections that emerge toward the rim of the glass. Olfactory examination: Wide and typical aromatic profile, dominated by notes of ripe cherry, Morello cherry and plum, accompanied by floral nuances of primrose and subtle balsamic and sweet spice hints. Taste examination: On the palate it comes across warm, with excellent structure and balance. The tannins are well polished and ripe, supported by a pleasant freshness and a good sapidity that lengthens the finish with fruity echoes. Recommended glasses: recommended to serve in large balloon glasses or full-bodied red wine glasses, at a temperature of about 16-18 °C. Food pairings: Ideally paired with traditional Tuscan cuisine, it pairs perfectly with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, grilled red meats, game roasts, first courses with wild boar ragù, and aged cheeses such as Pecorino Toscano D.O.P. Curiosities about the winery and producer: Tenuta di Nozzole is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, in Greve in Chianti, and is one of the historic and most prestigious estates of the Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari family. The estate boasts ancient origins dating back to the 13th century, while the Folonari family has operated in winemaking since the 19th century, distinguishing itself as one of the reference names in the valorization of the great Tuscan terroirs. The 1.5-liter Magnum format guarantees optimal aging and greater longevity of the wine over time.
