San Marzano Anniversario 62 Riserva DOC 2020 Magnum 1.5 L – The Grand Format of Primitivo di Manduria in Two Bottles for Grandissimi INTENDITORI! "True connoisseurs don’t drink wine, they taste secrets." Salvador Dalì In the heart of Salento, between the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava, one of the most representative wines of Puglia is born. In this land with a warm, breezy climate, characterized by red earth soils rich in iron oxides and a calcareous subsoil, Primitivo achieves extraordinary ripeness, delivering wines that are intense, elegant and of great longevity. Cantine San Marzano, founded in 1962 by nineteen winegrowers, is today one of the most prestigious realities of Italian enology. Anniversario 62 Riserva celebrates precisely the year of the winery’s foundation and is produced exclusively with grapes from vines over sixty years old, an authentic heritage of Apulian viticulture. San Marzano Anniversario 62 Riserva 2020 Primitivo di Manduria DOP comes from a careful selection of hand-picked grapes in light oversripeness. After fermentation, the wine matures for about 18 months in French and American oak barriques, developing a rich and complex aromatic profile. In the glass it presents an intense ruby red color. On the nose it offers elegant notes of plum, sour cherry, red fruit jam, tobacco, cocoa, vanilla and sweet spices. On the palate it is full, velvety and enveloping, with soft tannins, perfect balance and a long, persistent finish. Ideal pairings are with braised dishes, game, grilled red meats, roasts, rich first courses and aged cheeses. It is also a contemplative wine, capable of delivering great emotions even after many years of aging. These exclusive 1.5-liter Magnum bottles represent a highly interesting opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts! All shipments are insured and managed by a Leading Company; we take care to carefully pack the shipment so that the product is delivered perfect and undamaged. To protect and respect the buyer, we guarantee that the bottle in the photo will be exactly the one delivered after winning. For any information we always respond to the messaging service.
