The proportion of new (30% to 50%) versus used barrels is determined after racking. Alc.: 14,5% Barolo Pernanno our *cru* in Castiglione Falletto is the Pernanno Nebbiolo vineyard. It is situated on the slope facing Serralunga d’Alba. This was the first plot of land purchased and planted by our grandfather, Giovanni Bongiovanni, in the early post-war years—around 1950. This demonstrates just how much our family believed in the potential of Nebbiolo from the very beginning. The old vines, perfect exposure, unique *terroir*, careful bunch selection, and the dedicated care we lavish on the vineyard endow this Barolo with a complex aromatic profile, a perfect balance of volume and elegance, and guaranteed longevity.
