This Margaux wine from the Fabre estates does not escape the rule; here you find what makes the appellation’s reputation, a power, a class and a unique elegance. This cuvée was named so in homage to a lion sculpted during the renovation of the family estate. This Lions de Fabre is a very fine dense red wine with notes of ripe cassis, a very nice length and particularly fleshy tannins. A reference in Bordeaux, a know‑how that is proven in producing wines from the best Bordeaux appellations. 9 bottles Château d’Argan 2017 as Cru Bourgeois of Médoc. This 2017 vintage presents a dark and deep ruby robe. The nose reveals a voluptuous aromatic bouquet with aromas of black fruits evoking smokier notes such as cedar or tobacco, as well as floral touches like violet. On the palate, the 2017 offers a soft and tasty attack, with finesse. Its structure is elegant. The mid-palate is full with continuity. The wine expresses itself progressively with delicate aromatic impressions of fruits and spices. The aging in barrels has further refined this wine which already looks very promising!
