With a dominance of Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Dauzac reveals a bouquet of notable complexity, slowly unveiled upon aeration. The tasting offers a subtle balance between the richness of the tannins and the aromatic diversity of the fruit wrapped in a softness that is always present, archetype of great aging wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon dominates in its complexity, its elegance, its minerality, complemented by Merlot bringing roundness and silkiness. Château Dauzac wines express a subtle balance where fruits, flowers and spices mingle with a fleshy complexity, tannins allowing the full emotion of the tasting to express itself. The 2016 vintage is a very rich and precise vintage, without excess, where one finds radiant fruit and a dense and complex raw material. The significant share of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend gives it an exceptional acidity/alcohol balance, the hallmark of a great vintage.
