Giuseppe Quintarelli – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2015 Prestigious bottle of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2015 produced by Giuseppe Quintarelli, one of the most iconic and sought-after wineries in the Valpolicella Classica. The 2015 vintage has received 96/100 points from Robert Parker – The Wine Advocate in the evaluation reported by Monica Larner in 2023. The same vintage was also rated 97/100 by Falstaff. The 2015 is an Amarone of great structure and concentration, produced according to the traditional style of the Quintarelli family. The grapes undergo a long natural appassimento before vinification, and the wine is subsequently aged for several years in large wooden barrels. On the nose it offers a complex and deep profile, with ripe red and dark fruit, cherry, dried fruit, spices, withered rose, balsamic notes and hints of cacao and licorice. On the palate it is rich and powerful, yet maintains remarkable precision and freshness, with fine tannins and a particularly long finish. The indicated alcohol level for this vintage is 16.5%. History of the wine and the winery The Quintarelli estate is located in Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, and is one of the most prestigious historical realities of the area. Giuseppe Quintarelli became famous for his deeply traditional approach to winemaking, based on manual grape selection, natural appassimento and long aging periods. His wines have over time become true icons of Valpolicella and are particularly sought after by collectors. The Amarone Classico represents one of the highest expressions of the winery. The 2015 vintage is particularly interesting for its combination of power, concentration, structure and freshness. Critics have highlighted precisely the balance between intensity and finesse of this harvest. To be enjoyed now or to be kept To be kept or to be drunk from now. The 2015 is still a young wine compared to the evolutionary potential of a great Quintarelli Amarone. Available indications report a broad drinking window, from 2026 up to 2060, confirming its capacity for further evolution in bottle. It can therefore be tasted today as well, preferably after adequate aeration, or kept for many years in optimal cellar conditions. Shipping method The bottle will be carefully packed with professional packaging specific for wine bottles, with shock protection and appropriate stabilization during transport. Shipping will be carried out via trackable courier, with secure packaging designed to minimize the risk of breakage or damage during transport.
