Recommended type of glass: Sparkling wine glass for Classic Method, wide tulip or Champagne-style glass. Characteristics: Wider opening than a narrow flute allows the bubbles to stretch and the rich aging bouquet to fully express itself. Serving temperature: 8 - 10 °C. curiosities about the cellar and producer: Ferrari cellars were founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari, a pioneer who sensed the extraordinary vocation of Trentino for producing Classic Method sparkling wines capable of competing with the best French Champagnes. In 1952, as he had no heirs, Giulio Ferrari entrusted his creation to Bruno Lunelli, owner of a renowned wine shop in Trento. Since then, the Lunelli family has made the Ferrari label the absolute reference for high-end Italian sparkling wines worldwide. Ferrari Perlé Bianco is produced only in the best vintages from a strict selection of Chardonnay grapes from the family vineyards situated at high altitude, and represents the purest, longest-lived, and most refined expression of Trentino Blanc de Blancs.
