2015 Dom Pérignon - Champagne Brut - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

1 Bottle Boxed An iconic, delicate, and complex Champagne The Estate Named after the famous monk Pierre Pérignon—cellar master at the Abbey of Hautvillers in 1668—Dom Pérignon Champagne embodies a rich heritage and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. This visionary monk is often credited with discovering the *méthode champenoise* (traditional method), a pivotal moment in the history of Champagne. Dom Pérignon remains committed to quality and continuous innovation, a legacy upheld by current Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon, who took up the mantle in 2019. The Maison’s philosophy—focused on expressing the character of specific vintages—reflects the ambition to create the "best wine in the world," a goal established when Dom Pierre Pérignon was appointed cellar master at the Abbey of Hautvillers. The Wine An iconic cuvée acclaimed for its excellence by the finest connoisseurs, every Dom Pérignon Vintage captures the pure, authentic expression of a specific year in Champagne. The Vintage Following a mild winter, 2015 was a year of striking contrasts: a freezing spring gave way to a prolonged heatwave from mid-May to mid-August, bringing exceptional sunshine and periods of drought. Welcome rains in late August ensured optimal ripening, yielding generous, well-balanced grapes. Vinification and Aging Dom Pérignon’s winemaking process strictly adheres to the principles of the *méthode champenoise*, with an absolute commitment to faithfully reflecting the vintage. Extended cellar aging—a resting period far exceeding appellation standards—allows the Champagne to develop its complexity and aromatic depth. The Blend This exceptional Champagne is the result of a secret blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
