Vasari is born in the Fratello Barba family’s farm and takes its name from an ancient family plot. Here arise these Montepulciano vineyards which yield these prestigious grapes that will then age in French barrels for about 16 months. The grapes are hand-picked and transported in crates. This Montepulciano presents itself as elegant and balanced with balsamic notes and red fruit. The color is intense and ruby red. It is a wine that has won numerous awards, including Robert Parker with 90/100, 5 Bibenda grapes, Three Glasses Gambero Rosso, and many others. It is a wine destined for great evolution over the years and surely for a pleasant persistence as it ages.
