Wine and winery history The Giuseppe Quintarelli winery, located in the Valpolicella Classico area, is one of the most prestigious and historic realities of the region. Giuseppe Quintarelli, affectionately known as “Bepi,” was a key figure in valorizating the great wines of Valpolicella and in Italian artisanal production. The Amarone Riserva is produced only in particularly meritorious vintages and represents one of the highest expressions of the winery’s production philosophy. The 2011 vintage is particularly significant in the house’s history, having been produced in the final years of Giuseppe Quintarelli’s life.
