2005 Masseto - Tuscany - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

The Masseto 2005 from Tenuta Masseto is a prestigious Tuscan red wine, produced exclusively with Merlot grapes. It presents with an intense, deep color; on the nose it offers a complex bouquet with notes of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, balsamic hints, and menthol traces. On the palate it is full, rich, and structured, with elegant, well-integrated tannins, accompanied by a pleasant persistence that recalls dark chocolate and black truffle notes. The 2005 vintage was characterized by a cool, rainy climate with a late harvest that granted the wine notable freshness and balance. The maturation occurs partly in wooden barrels and partly in cement tanks, contributing to a refined and harmonious aging that enhances the aromatic complexity without overlaps. A wine of strong personality, capable of expressing the Bolgheri terroir with elegance and depth.
