2004 Giuseppe Rinaldi, Barbera d'Alba - Piedmont - 2 Bottles (0.75L)

The Barbera d'Alba 2004 from the Giuseppe Rinaldi estate is a rare wine on the market, with prices generally ranging from €150 to over €300 depending on the merchants, auctions, and the rarity of the bottle. Profile and evolution of the bottle Although there are few notes from the major Anglo-Saxon institutional critics for this particular cuvée, feedback from professional tasters and seasoned enthusiasts on CellarTracker and Vivino describes a wine that has aged remarkably well: • Nose: Opens with a complex tertiary bouquet of old leather, smoky notes (potpourri), gentle tobacco, and stewed black fruits. • Mouth/Palate: The tannins are now fully melted. The Barbera's naturally high acidity has acted as an excellent preservative, keeping the wine very fresh, juicy, and balanced despite its more than 20 years of age. - Parker points: no score for this cuvée - Level of fill (cork) - Condition of the label (Excellent) - Condition of the capsule (Excellent) - 750 ml - Bottling (at the estate) - Ready to drink or to age further - Shipping method: La Poste (Colissimo, etc…)
