Bottler: Bottled by the Donnafugata S.r.l. wine companies - Contessa Entellina - Italy "Mille e una Notte" is the iconic and flagship red wine of the Sicilian winery Donnafugata. This historic winery was founded in Sicily by the Rallo family, guided by the vision of Giacomo and Gabriella, and represents an absolute excellence of Made in Italy worldwide. The name "Mille e una Notte" evokes the palace of the Bourbon queen Maria Carolina who fled Naples and found refuge in Sicily, precisely where today the company’s vineyards rise. The wine originates from the Contessa Entellina DOC estate and is a blend with a strong preponderance of Nero d’Avola, aged extensively in French oak barrels before resting in bottle. The author’s label features the stylized palace under an oriental starlit sky."
