Vintage Jewelry Set (circa 1972-1975) in 18k Yellow Gold and Natural Momo Coral. Coordinated set of high Italian jewelry dating from the early 1970s. The set is distinguished by the use of authentic vintage natural coral (Momo variety / Corallium Elatius), famous for its pinkish-orange hue, enriched by the characteristic concentric white calcareous “core” visible in both the beads and the carved motifs. An exceptionally striking set, ideal for collectors of vintage high-end jewelry and coral enthusiasts. 1. NECKLACE: - Smooth, round beads of vintage natural coral. - Beads measure 8.5 mm in diameter. - Total length (open): about 50 cm (classic choker length, elegantly resting beneath the collarbone). - Era-appropriate professional stringing with individual safety knots between each bead. - Precious vintage clasp in yellow gold 750 (18 karat) shaped like a shell/fan. The back of the clasp bears the official “750” stamp clearly impressed. Estimated weight of the gold clasp alone: about 3.5–4.5 g. 2. ARCED HOOP EARRINGS: - Natural coral and 18k yellow gold (18 carats). - Mobile, articulated cluster design. Each earring comprises a cascade of smooth drop elements, small beads, and finely hand-carved rose buds, fully rounded at the base with a large smooth coral bead of 11.5 mm diameter. - Gold components: every coral element (beads and buds) is expertly mounted using a prestigious continuous-thread technique with gold 18k pins passing through, ending at the end with the typical polished ball-shaped punch as a light point. The elegant lobed cups at the top, the inner support chains, and all micro-link joints are in yellow gold, perfectly coordinated with the necklace. - Earring size: total length about 5.5–6 cm. • Note on clasps and hallmarks: the original safety butterfly clasps at the back have been lost over time and are not included. The gold hallmarks are not present on the body of the earring (they were originally stamped only on the removed butterflies), but the entire structure is 18k gold, vintage, and coordinated with the parure necklace.
