19th C. Native American Beaded Hide Moccasins - Zigzag Lane-Stitched

Native American, Western Plains, Sioux (Lakota). A pair of soft-sole hide moccasins, their toes and forefeet densely worked in lane-stitch glass seed beads arranged in cascading zigzag bands of green, white, cobalt, red, yellow, and sky blue. The soft-tanned uppers rise to fold-over cuffs and retain their beaded rim rows and hide tie thongs. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids. Item # 204022
