La Rioja Alta, S.A. 904 is a historic and highly respected winery in the Barrio de la Estación in Haro (La Rioja, Spain), founded in 1890 by five local families. The harvest of La Rioja Alta 904 Gran Reserva was Bottled in Labastida in 1994 and is cataloged as one of the mythical vintages in the wine history of the Denominación de Origen Rioja after more than ten years without vintages rated as excellent. The 1994 vintage was a rare winter, as temperatures were higher than the seasonal average. This, combined with a shortage of rainfall, accelerated the cultivation process. All of this contributed to producing a wine with a great color, a high alcohol content, and perfect acidity levels. An optimal harvest for achieving good aging. That is why today we can acquire a wide variety of Rioja bottles from the year 1994 in very good storage conditions. Do not compare wines with such long aging to a current wine. This bottle is intended for palates accustomed to vintage wines or collecting. Always in a private cellar with controlled temperature. IMPORTANT !! Shipping is NOT made to the following countries.
