1986 Peanuts Comic Signed by Charles Schulz to Jacques Demers

1986 Peanuts Comic Signed by Charles Schulz to Jacques Demers

Directly from the Demers Family, this charming Peanuts comic strip was gifted to Demers and signed by the famed artist Charles Schultz. Depicting Snoopy before a hockey game, the black and white comic tells the story of a nervous player before a big game. The comic itself is a print while the hand drawn autograph by Schulz is made out to Demers reading "To Jacques Best Wishes Charles Schulz". Jacques Demers was an influential figure in Canadian hockey, best known for his coaching career in the NHL. He coached the Quebec Nordiques, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens, leading Montreal to the 1993 Stanley Cup championship. Following his career in hockey, Demers became a political figure as a senator in the Canadian senate.
