1981 Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva

Count of Valdemar (Gran Reserva 1981, Reserva 1991, 2x 1998) + Cune Reserva 2002 (2x) Bodegas Valdemar (Martínez Bujanda) and CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España). ---Bodegas Valdemar (Conde de Valdemar) Founded by the Martínez Bujanda family, whose winegrowing tradition dates back to the late 19th century (1889), Bodegas Valdemar is a pioneer in innovation within the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Noted for its strong roots in Rioja Alavesa, the family has always stood out for its full control over its own vineyards and for introducing revolutionary methods in fermentation and aging, turning the Conde de Valdemar range into an international reference of elegance, structure, and longevity. ---CVNE - Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (Cune) Founded in 1879 in the mythical District of La Estación in Haro (Rioja Alta), CVNE is one of the most iconic and recognized wineries in the history of Rioja and Spain. Over more than five generations of the same family, CVNE has managed to combine respect for traditional craft with technical design (in its origins with collaboration from the Gustave Eiffel study). Its Cune Reserva wines represent the classic expression of the Rioja Alta terroir, aged in oak barrels and bottle to achieve a distinctive complexity and finesse. Vintage wines should never be compared with current wines, neither in the palate nor in appearance. They are wines meant for seasoned palates or for a collection. As they are outside their optimal time, I cannot guarantee their consumption. Always in a private cellar with controlled temperature. IMPORTANT !! Shipping is NOT available to the following countries. SWITZERLAND-NORWAY-FINLAND-RUSSIA AND OTHERS-MALTA-CANARY ISLANDS-MADEIRA.
