1979 Triumph Bonneville T140

Introduced for 1973, the Triumph Bonneville T140 carried the celebrated Bonneville into a new era with a larger 750 cc parallel-twin engine and front disc brake. Combining classic British styling with stronger performance, the T140 became one of Triumph’s defining motorcycles of the 1970s. This T140 is a handsome example of the final-generation Bonneville, which received a five-speed gearbox for more relaxed high-speed cruising and other refinements for everyday usability. This late-production example retains the essential character and appeal of the model that embodied British motorcycling for nearly two decades.
