1967 Château Haut-Batailley - Bordeaux

O RESERVE This lot consists of a bottle of Bordeaux red wine, a 1967 Château Haut-Batailley, a Fifth Grand Cru Classé in 1855 from the prestigious Pauillac appellation under controlled designation. The green-tinted glass bottle features an original white and gold label bearing the estate's coat of arms, which remains legible despite being marked by numerous foxing spots and traces of moisture from aging. The bottle has a total weight of 1300 grams and a height of 30 cm. The original gold lead capsule wrapping the neck is present and sealed, showing a pronounced patina and dust accumulated over time. The liquid level is located at the high shoulder mark, which is quite remarkable and excellent for a bottle approaching sixty years of storage. The glass body of the bottle is completely coated with an untouched thin layer of grey, slightly greasy cellar dust.
