1966 Honda CB77 Super Hawk

Introduced in the early 1960s, the Honda CB77 Super Hawk helped redefine the middleweight motorcycle with its advanced 305 cc parallel-twin engine, electric starter, and sporting chassis. Its lively performance, refined engineering, and distinctive styling made it one of Honda’s most influential early sporting motorcycles. Its overhead cam engine, strong brakes, and capable handling demonstrated the sophistication that was rapidly becoming a hallmark of Honda engineering. The CB77 played a crucial role in establishing Honda's international reputation and helped reshape expectations of what a middleweight motorcycle could offer. Presented in largely unmodified specification, this is a beautiful, important, and highly collectible piece of Honda motorcycling history. *Please note that the lots offered in the Billy Joel Collection have been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational.
