Vintage 1939 A.C. Gilbert Erector No. 10-1/2 Electric Train Set presented in what appears to be a restored blue metal case that shows exterior wear with scuffs and scratches. No exterior decal present. The interior features the original illustrated cardboard insert panel which displays gears, pulleys, and structural girders. The cardboard insert shows edge/corner wear. The set also includes the American Flyer No. 420 black 2-4-2 locomotive, transformer, motor, and more. Missing the track sections. The locomotive shows playwear, however the wheels spin freely. Includes instructional manual. This set has not been collated for completeness and is sold with what is shown. Case measures approximately 24 x 14 x 5 inches.
