18th-century blue porcelain saucer Lange Lijs - Porcelain...

18th-century blue porcelain saucer with Long Lily (1662-1722). With a long lily in traditional dress and the characteristic knot. The flowing lines with which the folds of the clothing and the leaves of the surrounding plants are rendered testify to craftsmanship. The long lily is surrounded by beautiful Zotjes. The underside ring is not glazed. The light orange-brown discoloration on the rim is a typical feature of this type of antique porcelain. (pinholes). The pinholes developed during firing as gas bubbles escaped from the clay. This saucer is handmade and characteristic of this period. There is some light fritting present at the edge. Track and trace will be sent.
