Includes engraved admission tickets featuring George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Christopher Columbus and other historical figures, together with Manhattan Day, Chicago Day, children's and single-day admission tickets. The World's Columbian Exposition commemorated the 400th anniversary of Columbus's arrival in the Americas and became one of the most important world's fairs in American history, attracting more than 27 million visitors and introducing millions to the monumental "White City."
