1880 Gold Dollar. MS-67 PL (NGC).

1880 Gold Dollar. MS-67 PL (NGC). A splendid Superb Gem by any measure. Softly frosted motifs stand boldly out from nicely mirrored fields, the contrast delivering exceptionally strong eye appeal. This is a boldly struck survivor from a circulation strike mintage for the date of just 1,600 gold dollars. The present beauty is about as fine as you are apt to find for the date and grade combination. Provenance: From the Bryan C. Tipton Collection. NGC Census: 19; 3 finer in this category (MS-68 PL finest). PCGS# 87581. NGC ID: 25DJ. Click here for certification details from NGC.
