1802/1 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-232, B-4. Rarity-3. Narrow Date. VF-30 (PCGS). CAC. BB Die State II. Warmly patinated silver-mauve surfaces exhibit enhancing blushes of reddish-russet that find greatest expression at the peripheral stars and date digits on the obverse. This is a nice piece in a mid-grade early dollar, boldly defined overall with a pleasingly original, smooth appearance during in-hand appreciation. A strong Choice VF to represent the type, issue or BB number in the collection of a discerning numismatist. Provenance: From a Collection of American Silver Classics. PCGS# 40090. NGC ID: 24XC.
