16pc Aynsley Pembroke Fine Bone China Bouillon Cups and Saucers

Set of eight Aynsley fine bone china bouillon cups and matching saucers in the Pembroke pattern. Each piece features polychrome transfer-printed Chinoiserie decoration depicting a blue and yellow bird perched on a flowering branch surrounded by pink peonies and blue blossoms. The forms are finished with gilded rims and a blue scroll border, with the cups featuring two scrolled handles. The underside of each saucer bears a green printed mark consisting of a crown above a banner reading AYNSLEY, surrounded by EST. 1775, MADE IN ENGLAND, FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA. A brown printed inscription within a scroll border reads Pembroke Reproduction of an Eighteenth Century Aynsley design.
